An update has been issued on planned roadworks on the M23.

Subject to weather conditions the northbound exit slip road at junction ten will be fully closed between 7am and 7pm daily for 16 weeks.

A diversion via junction nine and back will be in place, according to Surrey and Sussex Neighbourhood Watch.

Between today, May 11, and Friday, May 15, the junction nine entry slip road will also be shut southbound between 8pm and 6am.

A diversion will run via Airport Way, the A23 London Road, A2011 Crawley Avenue and join at J10.

The neighbourhood watch also said a full closure of the junction ten entry slip road will be in place northbound.

A diversion to J10a and back will be in place.
