Chair of Willingdon and Jevington Parish Council John Pritchett BEM and Cllr Fran Pritchett visited Frank Cresswell and his wife Shirley and had a lovely chat with both of them earlier this week.

During lockdown Frank spent his time making a wonderful model of WW2 and the D-Day landings.

It was a pleasure to visit Frank and his wife and to see this amazing model.

The aircraft and landing craft were all made by him for the model.

Frank was 9 years old when the D-Day landings took place and he remembers all the aircraft flying overhead.
