Worthing care home staff and residents complete 2.6 Challenge for Alzheimer’s Society

Residents and staff at Highgrove House care home in Worthing completed 26 laps of the garden to raise money for Alzheimer’s Society as part of the 2.6 Challenge on Sunday. he Queen was there at the finish line, in cardboard cut-out form, and all residents were presented with a medal and certificate by their special guest.

The afternoon finished with ice creams all round. So far, £838 has been raised, more than double the £400 target set by the home.
