Worthing firefighters rescue trapped wood pigeon
Firefighters have stepped in to save a wood pigeon which had become stuck in netting.
One crew from Worthing Fire Station was sent to the incident in College Gardens, Worthing, at 8.45pm last night (Thursday).
A fire service spokeswoman said: “On arrival, one pigeon was stuck in netting on a roof and the crew used a ladder and small gear to rescue the bird. The RSPCA were also in attendance.”
