Worthing Lions give hundreds of pounds to take Christmas lights total to £5,000

The donation of £780 from Worthing Lions Club took the total collected by Saxifrage Way residents for Kent, Surrey & Sussex Air Ambulance Trust to £5,000.

Hide AdLion Lee Milner said: “This wonderful Christmas light display came at zero cost to the town or the local people. The display was put on free in order to bring not only joy to visitors after such a sombre year but to also raise money for the Kent Surrey and Sussex air ambulance.
“Many people visited, enjoyed and donated. The Worthing Lions admired the work and community spirit, and were so impressed that they donated £780, which took the total collected to a staggering £5,000.
“It was a truly wonderful display and the air ambulance are very grateful to have had such help from local residents and Worthing Lions.”
