Hide AdThe Circle puts contestants up in a refurbished block of flats in Salford, but they do not meet eachother face to face.
Instead, they communicate through profiles on a specially designed app, meaning they can portray themselves in any way they choose.
Each contestant is then ranked from most to least favourite, with winners becoming 'influencers' and losers being 'blocked'.

Hide AdTally will be one of nine contestants fighting for the £100,000 winner's prize. In her blog giving her motivation for joining the show, she said: "I have built this Instagram that doesn't really represent me as a person. I'm kind of embarrassed of my own Instagram.
"I really want to go on The Circle to strip everything back and be perceived as my normal quirky self rather than these posey, edited pictures. I want to see if you are really only accepted if you look a certain way."
Series 3 of The Circle starts on Tuesday, March 16, at 9.15pm on Channel 4 and All 4.
