Yapton has second People’s Postcode Lottery win in the same week

Yapton has had a second win on the People’s Postcode Lottery in the same week.

Six neighbours in the village are celebrating today, with the news they have scooped £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

The Cobham Close residents netted the windfall when BN18 0LF was announced as a Daily Prize winner today, Friday, July 31.

She said: “What a great way to kick start the weekend. Congratulations to our players in Yapton. I hope they’re able to treat themselves to something special with their prize.”

Two near neighbours in the Bilsham Road area won £1,000 each on Monday when the postcode BN18 0JW was announced as a Daily Prize winner.

And seven neighbours in Elm Place, Rustington, won £1,000 each on Wednesday when the postcode BN16 3BL was announced as a Daily Prize winner.

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and these draws were promoted by The Ramblers, which works to protect and expand the places where people love to walk.

Local charities can next apply for funding in August. For more information, visit www.postcodelottery.co.uk
