As the country finds itself under a second lockdown, Remembrance Sunday this year will be a very different occasion.

That’s why we, along with our sister titles across the country, are inviting all our readers to join us in a two-minute doorstep silence this Remembrance Sunday.

The full details on how you can do this are in today’s paper, along with a special poster inside which people can display in their windows or to hold during the two-minute silence.

Young people in the area who have gone that extra mile caring for others throughout this pandemic have also been honoured.

A special two-page picture spread is in today’s Observer.

Recent parking changes in Bexhill have moved parking problems elsewhere in town, that’s the claim from residents and councillors, who outline their concerns in a story in today’s Observer.

Bexhill and Battle MP, Huw Merriman, also voted against the second lockdown this week.
