Person hit by train between Lewes and Brighton
A person was hit by a train between Lewes and Brighton last night (Saturday, July 4).
A spokesman for Southern Rail said on social media: "It is with great sadness that we report a person has been hit by a train between Lewes and Brighton. All lines are closed between these stations whilst the emergency services work to deal with this tragedy."
South East Coast Ambulance Service has been approached for comment.
