Person saved from water-trapped car in Bexhill

A person was saved from their car that was trapped in water in Bexhill yesterday (Sunday, January 10).

Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Bexhill and Hastings were mobilised to Herbrand Walk at around 12.05am.

The vehicle was pushed to safety and the road was closed.

Both police and Highways Agency were called to the scene.
