Sadly there was a poor turnout for the Village Hall Committee meeting held on Monday November 5 with just a few members of the public coming along. As reported before, Pett Village Hall is in desperate need of additional funds to pay for the new floor and other items. It is a valuable asset for the village and one that we don’t want to lose! A sub-committee is to be formed to address this major problem and it is holding its first meeting on Monday November 26 in Pett Village Hall at 6:30pm. The meeting will be an open one so do come along and lend your support.

Don’t forget on Friday November 16:

Pett W.I. meeting at 2:30pm in Pett Village Hall. This in the AGM and members will also be celebrating Pett WI’s 95th anniversary.

Pett Nats meeting at 7:30pm in Pett Village Hall. The speaker will be Melvyn Smith, on ‘Bird Life’.

Church Services on Sunday November 18 – Book of Common Prayer, Holy Communion, St Nicholas, Pett Level at 8: 00am followed by a Breakfast Party. Please note that you have to attend the 8am service if you want breakfast! There will be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

POPP on Tuesday November 20 will feature the Regency Singers. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Also on Tuesday November 20 Pett Parish Council will meet in Pett Village Hall at 7:30pm.
