Pett

There seems to have been some confusion about the refreshments at the Michaelmas Extravaganza. Whilst Pett WI did supply some of the cakes, the refreshments were provided by Doreen Goodsall and her team, whose sterling efforts were very much appreciated by organisers and customers alike!

As mentioned before in this column, our local PCSO, Richard Birchard will be holding a surgery in Pett Post Office on October 26. He will be there from 10:30am and it will be your opportunity to come and meet him to discuss any local community or Policing issues or just to say hello.

After three years without a Rector it is very good news that a new Rector, Revd. Richard Barron and his wife Cath have moved into the Rectory on Battery Hill. His first service in Pett will be on Sunday October 28 at 11am and it is hoped that as many people as possible will come to Pett Church that day to welcome him to the village.
