Church Services: On Sunday November 13, Remembrance Service, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 10:30am. There is a Sunday service at Pett Methodist Church at 10:45am.

Village Voices: On Monday November 14 the Village Choir will meet at Pett Methodist Chapel at 7:30pm.

Pett Older People’s Project: POPP will meet as usual on Tuesday November 15. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:00pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Mobile Library: The next visit will be on Tuesday November 15 when it will stop outside Pett Church from 10am until 10:30am.

Pett Parish Council: Also on Tuesday November 15, Pett Parish Council meets at 7:30pm at Pett Village Hall.

Pett WI: On Wednesday November 16 Pett WI will be holding its Annual General Meeting, which will involve the election of the Committee and a new President. Since passing the resolution at last year’s AGM to change the meeting times to Wednesday evenings Pett WI has almost doubled its membership.

There has been a lot of activity in the past year. Several members have learnt to crochet after a Crochet Master class from Pauline Barker. Twiddle muffs are being made for Conquest hospital patients suffering from dementia and the WIspa group is strengthening its association with Safehaven Women by providing much-needed sanitary products to vulnerable women in Hastings.

Craft Fair: This popular event takes place in Pett Village Hall on Saturday November 19 from 10am to 3pm. For those in a mood to buy, there will be silver, jewellery, soaps, cards, cushions and turned wood. You can make a start on your Christmas shopping and even have a bite of lunch! Tea, coffee, sandwiches and cakes will also be available.
