New Beach Club: To get you in the festive mood the Pett Level “Winter Warmer” Beer Festival is taking place on Friday, Saturday and Sunday December 18, 19 and 20 at the New Beach Club in Pett Level. A selection of six real ales will be on offer as well as bottled beers, mulled cider and mulled wine (Sunday only) and food will be available from the Rustic Kitchen. There will be live music on Saturday night with Phil Trainor and Sunday afternoon with The Undecided.

Carols in the Barn: Don’t forget Carols in the Barn at Pickham Farm, Watermill Lane, which takes place tomorrow night (Saturday) at 6:30pm.

Sunday December 20 – Book of Common Prayer, Pett Level at 8am; Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am. There will also be Carols by Candlelight at Pett Church at 4pm.

Thursday December 24 -Christmas Eve – Christingle Service for all the family, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 3pm.

Friday December 25 - Christmas Day – Christmas Day Communion, St Mary & St Peter, Pett at 9:30am. There will be a Christmas Morning short service of celebration at the Methodist Chapel at 10:30am.

Carol Singing in Pett: This year Carol Singing in Pett will take place on Monday December 21. All willing singers will meet up in St Mary and St Peter’s Church, Pett Road at 5:15pm sharp. It is great for children and there will be refreshments afterwards.

Pett Older People’s Project: On Tuesday December 22 POPP will be having a Christmas Party Buffet with entertainment from Brian Howard. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.
