Pett and Pett Level

Pett WI: Don’t forget today’s meeting (Friday June 19). The speaker will be Kieron Brennan from The Alzheimer’s Society. The meeting starts at 2:30pm and visitors are welcome.

Pett Nats: While there is no Pett Nats meeting this month, tomorrow Saturday June 20 Alan Kenworthy will lead a walk around Brede Woods from 10am to 12 noon. For those interested, please meet at the car park on Chitcombe Road, which is on the left hand side of the road, 1.5 miles form Broad Oak (Rainbow Trout).

Pett Methodist Chapel: There will be an art & flower exhibition to celebrate their church anniversary on Saturday & Sunday June 20 & 21. The theme is ‘Up the Garden Path and the exhibition opens at 10am on the Saturday. There will be paintings & photographs displayed, beautiful flower arrangements, stalls, refreshments and poets corner at 3-30pm, when folk will be sharing favourite poems.

On Sunday all will be open again from 1-30pm and at 5pm the Village Choir will be singing for us. Worship will be at 10-45am with Rev Cynthia Park and Songs of Praise will be at 6pm. All welcome. It is 2 years since the last art & flower exhibition and probably will be 2 years before the next, so do come along.

Open Gardens: Don’t forget the Open Gardens at Fairlight End, also on Saturday and Sunday June 20 and 21 from 11am to 5pm.

Church Services: On Sunday June 21– Book of Common Prayer, Holy Communion, Kay Burnett, at 8am at St Nicholas, Pett Level.

Village Choir: On Monday June 22 the Village Choir will meet again at 7:30pm in Pett Methodist Chapel.

Pett Older People’s Project: On Tuesday June 23 POPP will feature Keith Osborne with Music for Health. The session runs from 10:30am to 2pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.
