Pett and Pett Level

Church Services: On Sunday March 15 –Holy Communion, St Nicholas, Pett Level at 8: 00am. There will be a Sunday Service at the Methodist Chapel at 10:45am.

Village Choir: On Monday March 16 the Village Choir will meet again at 7:30pm in Pett Methodist Chapel.

Pett Older People’s Project: On Tuesday March 17 POPP will feature The Flapstix with a short drama performance and Spot the Tune Quiz. Antonella Bruce will also be there to give head and shoulder massages. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Pett Parish Council: Also on Tuesday March 17 Pett Parish Council will be holding the Annual Parish Meeting at 7pm in Pett Village Hall.

This meeting is open to all, as are all parish council meetings, so come and have your say on anything that is important to you about Pett or Pett Level.

Pett WI: On Friday March 20, Pett W.I. will welcome members of Rother Responders, who will be providing WI members with training on how to use the defibrillator at Pett Village Hall. In view of this important training, this will be an open meeting, which means that other members of the village can attend. The meeting starts at 2:30pm and the training will be followed by a delicious tea.

Pett Level Naturalist Society: Also on Friday March 20 Pettnats will be holding its AGM and then Richard Thompson will give an update on Mallydams Wildlife Hospital.

This should be a very interesting talk as Mallydams is just on our doorstep and they have been caring for seals injured on Pett Level beach amongst other animals and birds. Meetings start at 7:30 pm at Pett Village Hall and visitors are always welcome, as well as new members.

Pett Level Preservation Trust: As part of Rye Harbour Nature Reserve’s Winter programme, Cliff Dean and Martin King of The Pett Level Preservation Trust, will lead a walk to look at the military archeology of Toot Rock on Saturday March 21. The walk will last from 10am to 12pm and walkers will meet at the white ‘Toot Rock’ stone, TQ894138.
