Our local Village Choir is now 2 years old and going from strength to strength. The choir was busy in the summer singing at the Pett Flower Show, POPPs and Fairfest, with songs from shows, folk songs, popular songs and ‘Sing’ the Diamond Jubilee song. Members have a great time rehearsing, chatting and having a cuppa. They know that there are several of you out there who would like to join them, so this is an invitation to you to come along on September 24 to Pett Chapel, 7-30pm and have fun singing and meeting friends new and old. Don’t worry about having to read music or not having sung for years, that is not a problem Subs are just £1 per session.

POPP on Tuesday September 25 will feature exercise and a sing-a-long. The session runs from 10:30am to 2:30pm and will include a two-course lunch for just £5.

Don’t forget the Pett Short Mat Bowls Club’s Open Day on Thursday September 27 at Pett Village Hall. There are two sessions: 3-5pm and 7-9pm.
