"We already offer stop- smoking services and emergency contraception, and shortly hope to offer health checks for blood pressure, diabetes and cholesterol. From day one we will be open for 100 hours per week, 6.30am to 10.30pm Monday to Saturday and 10am to 4pm on Sundays.

"These hours will allow us to provide healthcare advice at hours of the day that fit in with today's busy working lives. For those who have difficulty accessing the pharmacy in person Trackside Pharmacy can offer a prescription collection and delivery service.

Craig continued: "Our staff are all local and newly recruited, but handpicked for their enthusiasm for our new venture and commitment to providing excellent care and advice."

Craig has a wealth of experience in community pharmacy both in East Sussex and further afield, and plans to use that learning to enhance and expand services in Trackside.

Craig said: "When we have sorted out your pharmacy needs why not treat yourself to refreshments in the adjacent Trackside Cafe?"
