Picture Gallery: Battle Remembrance Procession
BATTLE residents stopped to pay their respects to members of the armed forces who gave their lives in the two World Wars and other conflicts.
The generations paraded side by side through the town centre to St Mary The Virgin Church for a special service.
This was followed by a moving wreath laying ceremony at the war memorial.
Similar scenes of remembrance were played out across Rother on Sunday.
