Lewes woman Michi Mathias has produced a recipe book with a difference – it uses pictures rather than words to produce delicious dishes.
Parents with sons or daughters leaving for university next month, with the intention of surviving on oven chips and pot noodles, will be particularly interested in her collection of graphic recipes.
Michi said: “You won’t find many precise measurements or specific instructions. But you will find a clear visual guide to making uncomplicated good food from basic real ingredients.
“Originally drawn for my 18-year-old to cook some of his home favourites without the bother of reading, these recipe diagrams are for visual thinkers of all ages who enjoy trying out ideas.”
JJ’s Graphic Recipes is now available at Kings Framers and the Skylark Bookshop, Lewes.
