PICTURES: Children's art skills on display

CHILDREN from three schools are celebrating after winning an art competition.

Shannon Semple, from Seaside Primary, Derwyn Jones, from The Globe, and Lauren Wykes, from North Lancing, were chosen to feature on the Lancing Parish Council's Christmas cards.

The winners were voted for by councillors and members of the public after an exhibition at the Parish Hall, in South Street, Lancing.

"All the art work was of a very high standard and it was a popular exhibition," said Ann Bridges, chairman of Lancing Parish Council.
