PICTURES: Gogglebox duo join hundreds at beauty salon opening

A new beauty retreat opened in Worthing on Sunday (December 11) and attracted 200 guests, including Gogglebox duo, Stephen and Chris, who cut the opening ribbon.

Vanilla Pod Beauty, expanded to its new premises, in Broadwater Street East, due to its recent success and growth.

Salon manager, Emma Hopper, 27, said she has been ‘overwhelmed’ by the support from her current clientele and from new clients that have come through the door since Sunday.

She said: “We are already looking to employ more staff – our phone hasn’t stopped and a sister salon is already in talks for the near future.

“I absolutely love that we have been able to give Worthing its very first brow bar along with still offering high-end brands such as Decléor in our double massage room.”

Visitors were greeted with a glass of Prosseco, a goody bag and money off any treatments booked or paid for on the day.

The beauty team showed off their talents, including professional make-up, fibre glass nail extensions and lip fillers.
