Hastings Borough Council hosted its annual Holocaust Memorial Day service from 11am at St Mary in the Castle.
Speaking before the event, organiser Brian Linke said: “The Holocaust Memorial Service is an opportunity for everyone to take the time to commemorate the Holocaust, Nazi persecution, and subsequent genocides in Cambodia, Rwanda, Bosnia and Darfur.
