PICTURES: St Andrew's Primary Christmas plays

MORE than 400 children have taken part in Christmas productions in Steyning.

Pupils at St Andrew's Primary School, Steyning, have performed nine shows of three different Christmas plays.

Children in reception and years one and two took part in Hosanna Rock, a traditional nativity given a modern twist by popular jazz and rock museum.

Years three and four pupils performed The Little Fir Tree, the story of a little tree who was very small and felt insignificant until he was chosen to be the Christmas tree in a children's hospital.

Angels up High was the play chosen for children in years five and six '“ the story of eight mischievous angels who needed to find the true meaning of Christmas.
