Picturesque walk to raise money for Seaford charities

Seaford Martello Rotary Club is appealing for people to take part in a sponsored circular walk around the town on Sunday May 4.

It will raise money for Seaford Lifeguards, WAVES and The Starfish Project.

The fully stewarded and mapped walk around Seaford will take in Bishopstone and Alfriston, as well as the Cuckmere valley and Seaford Head.

It will be a circular walk starting and finishing at the Martello Fields, just off the Esplanade in Seaford.

Participants can choose to raise money for one or three of the nominated charities.

Seaford Lifeguards provide a voluntary lifeguarding service for Seaford Bay from May to September at weekends and Bank Holidays.

Waves provides practical help to Seaford families who feel like they are in need of support.

The Starfish project helps people who suffer from a stammer, helping them to gain confidence and control it.

Seaford Martello Rotary Club is a voluntary group which raises money for local, national and international charities.

It actively seeks new members.
