Pink equals pounds at Middleton shop

Staff at Barley’s donned various shades of the colour to again support the Breast Cancer Campaign’s Wear It Pink day.

All the employees at the Middleton Road supplier of housewares, pet supplies and garden products dressed in a wide variety of shocking pink costumes to raise £750.

Even the delivery drivers went out on their rounds wearing the clothing to cause much hilarity to their customers.

Shop manager Barry Lambert said: “I would like to thank our staff and all our customers who so enthusiastically entered into the spirit of the 
occasion.”
