Pirates ahoy!

PUPILS at Icklesham Primary School took part in a Pirate Party to celebrate completing a learning project.

Head Pauline Higgs said: “We finished off our exciting term with a Pirate Party, organised by the Friends of the School “We would like to say a big thank you to Mrs Croft and her team of helpers.

“The event raised £174 and the School Council will be deciding how to spend the money – on some new playground equipment and for our school in the Gambia.

“The children enjoyed their Home Learning which included making pirate ships, treasure maps and lighthouses.

“Thank you to parents for their support. “
