Arun planning officers have rejected plans for two detached houses with garages to be built on land at West Drive, on the Ham Manor estate at Angmering. The proposals did not comply with Arun’s development plan for the district.

In their decision, the officers said the width, height and design of the proposed houses would have been ‘a prominent form of development which would be out of keeping with the present character of the area’.
