Planting for the future
GUESTLING residents have been hard at work completing the final phase of a tree planting project to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The aim is to create a new hedgerow of native trees of Guestling playing fields to enhance it for future generations.
Trees that have been planted on the field include hawthorn, birch, blackthorn, hazel, rowan and oak.
The trees have all been planted by local volunteers led by Connie Evans.
