Beauty and The Beast is a well know fairy tale, originally written by French novelist Gabrielle-Suzanne Barbot de Villeneuve and published in 1740. More recently it was made famous by Walt Disney’s animated version.

Jennifer Annetts said: “Our Pantomime version has some of those well known Disney characters like Mrs Potts and Chip but there are differences as well.

“The handsome Prince is transformed into a Beast by the wicked Countess Cruella and only a kiss from a true love can break the magic spell.”

Belle is played by Megan Barham and the prince is played by Ben Burford.
