ORGANISERS of a charity darts night in Newhaven in memory of Michael Lewis are appealing for players to take part.

The evening will be held at the Railway Club in Railway Approach on October 11, starting at 7.30pm.

One of the organisers, Lianne Lewis said: “My brother had cancer and passed away aged eight and a half years old.

“This was an idea to raise money for those that cared for him and to help other children that are ill.

“So this year we have decided to give all money raised to Great Ormond Street Hospital as they took care of my brother.”

The annual event is being organised by Vic Sexton. There will also be a raffle.

If you would like to play darts you will need to be there at 7.30pm, as play will start at 8pm. It costs just £2 to enter .

Lianne added: “Just come along have a go - it doesn’t matter if you’re no good at darts as it’s all for charity!

“And if you dont want to play darts at all, then just join us for the raffle and to have a laugh.”
