Pocket-sized pony taken in by rescue centre at Ashburnham

Brownbread Horse Rescue in Ashburnham has just rescued its smallest ever horse – about the same size as a dog.

Foal 'Carnival' is the smallest horse ever to be rescued by the Brownrbead Horse Rescue in Ashburnham

The foal, a cross from a miniature Shetland pony, is named Carnival as the rescue vehicle had to negotiate roads close to the Bexhill Carnival which was in full swing.
