Supported by Hastings Rock, and with proceed going to Macmillan Cancer Support, The Poker Run is open to all classes of bikes, trikes & riding abilities.

Alan explained how the Poker Run works: "Once you have bought an entry ticket start your Poker Run any time from 11am, and collect a playing card from your first stop. Proceed to the other four stops '“ in any order you like '“ and collect a playing card at each."

"The cards you pick will be noted on your entry form and once you've handed in your completed form at the last stop, the three highest hands are winners!"

And, Alan said, the event isn't just open to those who want to participate in the Run:

"If you can't make the Poker Run during the day we'd still like you to bring your tent and join the evening party at the Happy Hunting Grounds Pet Cemetery at Ninfield, where there will be a bar, food, prize giving, live bands and camping."

He added: "Have fun and please drive carefully."

The Poker Run costs just 5 a go and the camping is 5 per person.
