SPA VALLEY: Our railway is closed during November, so that we can get ready for the Santa Specials in December. Now taking bookings including Santa Supper boxes. website.www.spavalleyrailway.co.uk. Booking essential.

SENIOR CITIZENTS: Monday Club, meet every Monday afternoon at Polegate Community Centre, from 2pm to 4pm. We play some games like Crib and Rummikub. We are interested to learn new games and would welcome new members to our friendly group. Come and join us. Men and women are welcome.

LADIES CIRCLE: Meet on the second Tuesday of the month. Our December meeting is a social one with food, and chat, held at Polegate Community Centre, at 2.30pm. Come and join us.

POLEGATE AFTERNOON WI: Is held on the second Thursday of the month at Polegate Community Centre. Meetings start at 2.15pm. All welcome in the lounge. More information from April Parriri on 489332.

COFFEE MORNING: Held on the second Friday of the month at St Johns Church, High Street, in aid of the Men’s Society from 10am to 11.30am.

Dry lunch or café at Horam. On Saturday December 10, Christmas Cheer, with Marjorie B. Meet at the Pier 10.45am to do a short stroll to Langham Hotel to join Graham for coffee and biscuits at approx. 11.15am. Downstairs in the West Dean Suite.

CHRISTMAS CRAFTS: Cards, gifts and wrap etc on Saturday December 10 from 2pm to 4pm, at Unit C3 Upper Floor, Chaucer Business Park, Dittons Road.

MENS SOCIETY: The next meeting is on December 12, our speaker is Ray Dadswell, talking about Approaching Christmas. Meetings held at St Johns Church, High Street. Tea from 2pm, meeting starts at 3pm.

POLEGATE DRAMA GROUP: Proudly presents the traditional and fun for all the family pantomime Aladdin. At the start of the drama groups 50th anniversary year. Our first production of the year is our panto Aladdin which will be on at Polegate Community Centre from Saturday January 14 to Sunday January 22. Tickets are £10.50 adults and £6.50 children now on sale. Performances are 7.30pm on January 14, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20 and 21 and at 2.30pm on January 14, 15, 21 and 22.
