FRIDAY CRAFT GROUP: Our craft group goes from strength to strength. If you are interested to learn how to knit, crotchet, make cards, cross stitch, embroider, quilting, then this is the group for you. Or if you have a craft that you can teach others, new people are always welcome. You can just sit and chat if you want to. We charge £1 which includes tea and coffee. Just come along between 10am to 1pm at Polegate Community Centre.

FRIDAY WHIST CLUB: Meet in the lounge at Polegate Community Centre from 2pm to 4pm. Pop along and join us its only £3 per session.

MONDAY CLUB: Senior Citizens Monday Club meets at Polegate Community Centre from 2pm to 4pm. If you enjoy meeting people and playing games like crib, whist, rummikub, scrabble and dominoes. Please do come along. We start with tea and coffee and chat. We meet every Monday afternoon.

On Sunday, Historic Sites From Stanmer, 10 miles with Angela F. Meet at The Avenue 9.30am, walk starts opposite Stanmer Park 10.10am GR 345087. Dry lunch. Optional tea at end. Walk can be shortened if weather bad. 8.59am train from Eastbourne to Falmer, 9.29am with return train 3.56pm from Falmer. On Saturday April 2, Spring Has Sprung, 5 miles with Bob J. Meet at the Triangle, Lower Willingdon 9.45am, bus 51 at 9.23am Terminus Road, Stand H.

COFFEE MORNING: Tomorrow, Saturday, the coffee morning is hosted by the Stud Farm Allotments Society. On Saturday April 2, the coffee morning is hosted by the Centre Fund Raising Team. All welcome in the lounge at Polegate Community Centre from 10am to noon.

POLEGATE WINDMILL: First opening of the season is on Sunday April 3, at the Platt, Park Croft, Polegate from 2pm to 5pm. Tours and refreshments available. Visitors welcome.

MENS SOCIETY: The society is meeting on Monday April 4, when our speaker is Derek Legg talking about St John’s Guild. Meetings are held in St Johns Church, High Street. Tea from 2.30pm, meeting starts at 3pm.
