VICTORY has been claimed by the ‘little people’ after the Government backed a planning inspector’s recommendation to refuse a developer’s vision to build hundreds of homes in the Polegate area.
Pelham Holdings Ltd lost its appeal to build 520 homes at Honey Farm. In a report just issued the Secretary of State supported planning inspector RPE Mellor’s recommendation for refusal.
The Mayor of Polegate, Cllr Tim Voyce, called the result ‘fantastic’ and a ‘victory for the little people’.
