Police appeal after air gun attack in Brighton

Officers in Brighton want to interview 18-year-old Connor Brooker about an air gun attack on a boy in the city.

Sussex Police said at about 7.45pm on Wednesday, May 3, the 17-year old victim from Brighton was in an alleyway off St Cuthman's Close, when a small handgun, believed to be an air gun, discharged several pellets, three of which hit him in the back of his right leg, causing bruising.

Officers investigating the incident are hoping to speak to Brooker about the incident, police said.

Brooker is described by police as white, 5ft 4, slim, with light brown hair and brown eyes.

Police said anyone who sees him or who knows where he may be, is asked to call 999 and not to approach him, or contact police online or through Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
