Police appeal after death of Henfield woman

Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman from Henfield died on Monday (March 2).

Johanna Moulds, of Wantley Hill Estate, was walking behind a black Honda CRV when she went to the ground in High Street, Henfield, at about 10.45am on Friday January 30.

The 79-year-old was taken to Worthing Hospital and was treated for a fractured hip, her injuries were not thought to be life-threatening.

Police said Mrs Moulds was readmitted to hospital days later and died on Monday March 2.

PC Doug Park said: “We need to speak to anyone who saw what happened or Mrs Moulds on the ground. If you were in High Street at the time please contact us.”
