Windows were broken at a mobile food van based at Falmer Train Station and a camping stove was stolen, according to British Transport Police.

PC Simon Austin, who is leading the investigation, wants to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time, who may have information which could assist enquiries.

They also want to speak to this man (pictured) in connection with this incident.

The van has its pitch on station land outside the entrance where its passenger-side window was smashed and the front window damaged sometime between Thursday January 31 and Friday February 1.

PC Austin said: “Between 8pm on the Thursday evening and 8am the following morning, a mobile van had its passenger-side window completely smashed, as well as damaged caused to the front windscreen.

“Once the window was smashed, someone has entered the vehicle and stolen a camping gas stove worth £20 which was stored under the passenger seat.

“Officers have today issued CCTV images of a man they want to speak to in connection with the incident.”
