Thieves have stolen a post box from a rural village.

The box was taken from

Earlsdown in Dallington some time between 10.15am on Monday, August 24, and 10.15am the following day.

Sussex Police are appealing for anyone with information to call them on 101, quoting reference 0819 25/08/15.

Phillip Ball, from Sussex Farm Watch, said: “This is not the first box to be stolen recently, we had a spate last year. These post boxes form part of our village and town heritage, so please keep a look out and if you see something suspect, call Sussex Police.”
