Police appeal after two drivers taken to hospital in A272 Rogate crash

Police are appealing for witnesses after a two-car collision on the A272 at Rogate on September 22.

A Ford Mondeo travelling south on the road crossed the carriageway and collided with a Saab Areo car travelling in the opposite direction at 3.23pm.

The Mondeo driver, a 61-year-old man from Upper Beeding, suffered chest pain and was taken to St Richard’s Hospital, Chichester.

The Saab driver, a 49-year-old woman from Midhurst, suffered a fractured foot and other injuries and was taken to the Royal Sussex County Hospital, Brighton.
