Police appeal following crash in Peacehaven

An 82-year-old woman was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital in Brighton with serious but non life threatening injuries following a collision with a BMW car on Thursday November 15 in Peacehaven.

Sussex Police and South East Coast Ambulance Service were called to the A259 in South Coast Road at 5.50pm.

A 39-year-old local man, who was driving a white BMW, was also taken to hospital with minor injuries and has since been discharged.

Police would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either the woman or the BMW car prior to the incident.

The A259 was closed for several hours whilst forensic examinations of the scene were carried out and officers would like to thank drivers for their patience.
