Police are growing concerned about a Pakistani student based at Newlands School in Seaford who was last seen in Eastbourne in August.
Ali Hamza, a 16-year-old who was visiting the country with a group of students, arrived in England on August 19 to spend two weeks in the country learning English.
He was based at Newlands School in Seaford but had been on trips to London and Eastbourne.
He was last seen on August 25 at 11.15am in the Currys store in the Arndale Centre in Eastbourne.
Detective Inspector Gavin Patch said: “Ali was with a group of students visiting the country but he distanced himself from the group but it was believed he would rejoin them later on in their trip.
“However the group returned to Pakistan on August 31 and Ali did not make contact with them and is still believed to be in the country.
“We are growing more worried as he has now not been seen for two weeks.
“We would urge Ali to please get in touch with us to let us know he is ok. Anyone who has seen him is asked to contact police on 101 or email firstname.lastname@example.org quoting serial 860 of 25/8.”
