Police appeal for witnesses after large fight outside Bognor Regis nightclub

The fight, thought to involve approximately 20 youths started outside Mud Club, on The Esplanade, when uninvited guests turned up to a private party at the venue.

A number of 999 calls were received from members of the public following the altercation at about 12.45am.

A 16-year-old was arrested on suspicion of affray and a 17-year-old received an injury to his eye. Both are local to the town.

Police immediately attended the scene and were confronted by the large group of youths fighting with each other.

It is not believed any weapons were used and the arrest was quickly made.
