Police released these images after fraudsters obtained £1,000s of fuel from petrol stations across the area.

A spokesman said: “A series of transactions have been carried out at petrol stations across the area, in which cloned fuel cards have been used, over the past few months.

“This has resulted in fuel to the value of thousands of pounds being obtained by the suspects.

“The exact period of time, value of fuel and locations of the offences have not been disclosed as this forms part of the police investigation.”

A 37-year-old man from East Grinstead arrested on suspicion of fraud by false representation has been bailed until June 12 pending further enquiries.
