Police said further information later led to the threat level being reduced but a search for the suspect continued until he was found and detained at an address in Horsham. He was not armed and no one was injured.

A 47-year-old man from Horsham has been arrested on suspicion of causing criminal damage and is currently in police custody while enquiries continue, the force said.
