POLICE CHIEF MOVES ON
Chief Inspector Bob Gough, who has been in charge of policing in the Lewes district, has moved to a new post.
He has become the I have been tasked with a new and exciting challenge as District Commander of Eastbourne from today (June 5).
He said: 'I leave Lewes District knowing that performance is strong, (one of the best in the Force), that our crime reduction is now, not only the best on East Sussex Division, but the best in the whole Force area and that our partnership framework through Local Area Partnerships and the District Crime Reduction Partnership are firmly embedded to reap further success.'
Chief Inspector Simon Nelson is the new Lewes District Commander.
