Police close Bognor Regis road

Motorists are being advised to find alternative routes after Chalcraft Lane was closed off this afternoon (Saturday, July 4). The road is closed both ways between West Meads Drive and Lower Bognor Road.

The road is currently closed due to a dangerous low hanging tree, police have said, and the issue is being dealt with by Highways England.

In a social media post, a spokesman for Arun Police said: "Chalcraft Lane, #BognorRegis is currently closed both ways between West Meads Drive and Lower Bognor Road. Please take an alternative route."
