Police concern for missing Newhaven woman

A 21-year-old woman who has learning difficulties has gone missing from her home in Newhaven.

Lily Hill has not been seen since Monday (January 18) when she left a friend’s home in Elphick Road, where she had been staying for a couple of days. She got on a number 12 bus around 10.15pm and was believed to be heading for her home in Mount Road, Denton.

She is white, 5’ 2”, of slim build with collar length straight blonde hair and blue eyes. She was wearing a khaki parka jacket with a fur-lined hood and dark flower print leggings.

Missing persons co-ordinator Shannon Marchesani said: “While Lily has gone missing on a handful of occasions before, it has not been for very long and given her mental age of 12, we feel that she is vulnerable.

“If you have seen her, know of her whereabouts or perhaps were on that bus that left Newhaven on Monday evening, please email [email protected] or call 101 quoting serial 1085 of 19/01.”
