Police concerned for missing man in care

Police are currently trying to find Worthing man Kenneth Lloyd, 60, who has been reported missing from Sunkist Care Home in Winchester Road.

According to police, Kenneth is described as white, 5’8”, with a beard, wearing a black zip-up hoody and blue jeans.

Police said he left the home on Wednesday afternoon (July 20) to go to the shops but did not return that evening as expected.

Detective constable Graham Milner said: “We are concerned for Kenneth’s welfare. This is the first time he has gone missing. He needs his medication and without it his manner can appear distracted and erratic, so we advise anyone who spots him not to approach him but to let us know.

“However there is no evidence at this time that he poses a specific threat to the public. He does not have any means of support with him, such as other clothing or cash, although he does have a mobile phone and bus pass.

“Anyone who sees him or who knows where he might be is asked to contact us right away via 101 or 999, quoting serial 15 of 21/07.”
